The X-Men, mutant heroes sworn to defend a world that hates and fears them, are back! This time, with the help of new recruits The Beast and Angel, they must face evolution itself in the form of their former teammate, Jean Grey. In X-MEN 3: THE LAST STAND, the final chapter in the X-Men motion picture trilogy, this "cure" for mutancy threatens to alter the course of history. For the first time, mutants have a choice: retain their uniqueness, though it isolates and alienates them, or give up their powers and become human. The opposing viewpoints of mutant leaders Charles Xavier, who preaches tolerance, and Magneto, who believes in the survival of the fittest, are put to the ultimate test - triggering the war to end all wars.
X-MEN 3: THE LAST STAND opens in theaters on May 26, starring Patrick Steward, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, James Marsden and the Dutch Famke Janssen as Jean Grey, the Dark Phoenix. Following the tradition of the previous two X-Men movies, this 3th sequel promises again to be a film full of dramatic moments and fantastic visual effects. A true closure of the X-Men trilogy.
