Playgirl's Derrick Davenport

Born in South Carolina, Derrick Davenport was raised by his mother as a good southern boy. Derrick took an early interest in fitness and exercise and began training at an early age, and that shows. In the fall of 2004, Derrick met photographers Steve Henry and Tom Watkin. After several shoots with these two photographers, Steve Henry suggested that Derrick should shoot for Playgirl magazine. The editors at Playgirl loved Derrick's look and he was chosen for the May 2005 cover and centerfold of the magazine. Derrick's Playgirl debut was huge for his career. In April 2005, Derrick signed with Mega Muscle Productions to produce a series of videos. His first, DERRICK DAVENPORT'S COMPLETE CIRCUIT TRAINING is already being hailed as "one of the most visually stunning workout videos ever created." That we find not difficult to believe at all. I mean - really - if you have to choose between Jane Fonda and Derrick....
